Bedtime Story........

Part of the perks of being on the Design Team at Sew Many Cards is being able to work with some of the wonderful sponsors we have and their products as well.  This week as I told you in my previous post we are being sposored by Wags N Whiskers.

I was given one of their lovely stamps to play with called Bedtime Story!  This is a rubber stamp and is etched nice and deep!  Lately I have been doing a few things again in rubber. Nice to get my fingers inky again!

I colored her with copics after stamping her with Momento ink and here are the colors:
Skin: E00, E02
Pillow: E000, C00, C1
Jammies: BV00, V12
Bear: E13, E33, E25, E29, E21
Book: Y11, G07, Y28
Hair: E13, E17, E18, E19

Steal A Kiss!

This month at Sew Many Cards we are so lucky to have Wags 'n Wiskers as one of our sponsors. As our sponsor I have been lucky enough to have been given one of their stamps called "Steal A Kiss" to play with and I was lovin it!  Now you can pick up this stamp right HERE.  It is made of deeply etched unmounted red rubber and is illistrated by the talented Crissy Armstrong.

Now looking at the little girls face she did not look too unhappy about the kiss. It reminded me of how when girls and boys are about that age boys are sooooo much shorter than girls.  I know my boys were both wondering if they were ever going to grow tall. Then like over night they shot up. Now one is 6'4", 6"2" and the other is 6'1" tall. So anyway I thought I wanted to make my card to show the options of what this stamp could be used for. I thought of course Valentines but then my mind wandered to anniversaries, weddings, the first day you met and so on and so on ........ I just did not want to peg hole this into one area!!!

I colored my image with copics and the applied a touch of stickles. I glazed his baseball cap, their eyes and the stepstool.  I ran the back ground through a polka dot QuickKutz embossing folder to match my DP and then chalked it to give it some more depth.  I made a lollipop flower with a button center and added a MS border. My sentiment was the finishing touch.

I hope you all enjoy and once again I want to thank Wag 'n Wiskers for the opportunity to use their stamp and for their sponsorship of Sew Many Cards Challenge this month!

Do not forget we still have a challenge going on right now and a new one will be starting again on Friday!!!

Challenge:
