Hello and Happy Sunday! The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring the challenge this week at Pile It On and Practical Scrappers and here is my card for these challenges. Now I am certain most of you know the premise behing the Pile It On challenges but in case you don't! The theory behind Pile It On is to create cards, scrapbook pages or even altered items using MORE THAN ONE challenge! We have found it to be a challenge to see how many challenges we could get into one project. Those of you that know me know that I love to do that so I was super excited that I could participate in this one. The theme this week was to create and use only ONE color, but of course they allow you to use a Neutral color too (white, black, cream, brown). Well you can see I used blue and white. At Practical Scrappers they wanted you to use your white pen. Well I hardly ever make a card without using my white uniball somewhere on my card. I use it as a highlight all the time. On this card I used it a bit more as you will see in my description. The winners of both challenges will win images provided by The Stamping Boutique.
For my card I chose to use Audrey Sitting 2. I think she is so versatal. She can be used so many ways and for just about any occasion! I thought this card could be used just because or Happy Spring!!!
I colored her in with my copics and then propped up and placed her atop of some flowered ribbon. I placed a coordinating flower in her hand. The background was embossed with perfectlly paisley cuttlebug folder. I then took my white pen and created a few highlights here and there. Matching buttons and she was finished!
