Pups In Love!

Delightful Inspirations has a Freebie challenge going on every week and of course I missed the deadline on the first one, so I had to get this one. So anyway if you make a card with the freebie and post you get the next weeks freebie! So I am going to make a mental note to try to keep up with it! Here is my card! I used the sketch from Create 4 Fun  and making it a gate fold card. Just something a bit different! I will show it open in a bit.

I of course colored my pups with my copics. Added a bit of stickles to her eye shadow and then on the sentiment of LOVE. Hard to see on this view. I glazed both odf their collars and then added a couple of bows, one in her hair and one on top.  In the centers of the flowers I put a gem stone to give it some bling.  My borders and the corners were both punched with MS punches.
Here is the card open.

Of course I couldn't just enter these sweethearts in a couple of challenges.  That would just not be me so here are the rest!

You Funny Rat!!!

To celebrate Global Belly Laugh Day on January 24th, Stitchy one of the Creators at the Digital - Ink Co. is holding a  funny sentiment challenge at the Digital-Ink Co's SRN Group. Everyone who wanted to play got this adorable little Rat and had to make a creation with him and a funny sentiment.  Well it took me a while to decide what I wanted to say on mine and then I remembered a joke that I thought was funny.  A woman kept praying over and over to win the lottery. She was losing everything in her life, her job, her house, her whole life and finally God says to her " meet me half way, buy a ticket". So this is where my inspiration came from. So you say I have to buy a ticket to win.  Well it was funny to me anyway.  I hope it gave you a chuckle. If nothing else the Rat is funny!

I of course colored him with copics and used that little trick again with a piece of cotton towel and the colorless blender to give his fur texture. Glazed his tail and nose, added a few buttons and a bow and walah!!!

Heart and Key!

Ok I have never entered a challenge at Split Coast Stampers even though I have been a member since I started blogging but when Angela from Sew Many Cards was hosting a sketch there this week I decided to give it a try.  Now if you know me I can not just enter ONE challenge so at the end of this post you will see the others that I have entered with this card also.  The sketch is # 264 and can be found here.

I used one of Angela's digi's on this card. You can find them at the Digital-Ink Co. Store. This one happened to be a freebie that was given out! Angela gives one out every Friday on the Sew Many Challenge Blog. I decided to paper piece my image together. Not a copic in sight! Remind me never to paper piece with this glitter paper again. I thought my eyes were bad before!!!!! Even with my glasses I was having a hard time seeing the lines to cut!  I then made paper lace that I found on Norma's blog. You can find the tutorial right HERE. I wove my ribbon through it to give it a homey look and ended with a couple of silver heart buttons to match the paper and image.

Just click HERE and it will take you to her store at the Digital-Ink Co. I am certain you will not just find one you love but have a hard time picking and end up taking home a few!!!!

Now I could'nt resist dressing my gal up in her finest, so after coloring her up with chalk and copics. I added some liquid pearls to her necklace and of course some lovely feathers and a flower to her millinery! She was then pop dotted and placed on a piece of embossed card stock. I stuck by my standards and added a bit of stickles to give her that little bit of bling. You just don't have that Zing if you don't have your Bling!!  I think Coco Chanel would be proud of her look!

Wishes Do Come True!

At least that is what this little darling is thinking as she blows out her birthday candle! Whiff of Joy is looking for 1 - 3 Guest Designers for a couple of months to work with their wonderful images.  So I thought that maybe this little angel could WISH me a wish and my wish would come true!!!!

Katharina was gracious to bestow upon us a lovely sketch to follow and all we had to do is make a Kreation with one Whiff of Joy stamp on it.  Here is my submission.

I colored her with my copics and then added a few stickles in various colors to add that sparkle I adore! I punched a few swirls with my EK Success punch and added a couple of dew drops and my bow.  The flowers are by Modern Romance and the Dragon Fly charm is from Michael's. The sentiment was printed from my computer with a font called Glider Girls.

Other Challenges Entered:
Simon Says Challenge - Punches and DT Call
Whiff of Joy - Recipe # 2

Friendship!!!

I am so excited to share with all of you my FRIENDS my first post as a Design Team member of Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge Blog!  As most of you know I am a true Teddy Bear Lover so when I saw this digi from this weeks sponsor the Digi Stamp Boutique I could not resist picking it out to use.

The name of this image is Coco with flowers and I think can be used for just about any type card. I chose today to honor my friends. Of course I followed the wonderful sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Come join us this week and you could win $10.00 in free digi images from our wonderful sponsor.

I colored Coco with my copics and then to give him a furry look I took a piece of cotton towel and dipped it into my # 0 colorless blender and dabbed it.  I hope you can see it on the picture. I wanted his fur to have some texture and I saw this on a youtube somewhere but can not find it to give them credit. If anyone knows please let me know and I will edit my post!

I added some stickles in various colors to each flower, grass and his ears.  I also added a gem stone to the center of each flower to give a bit of bling!!! The sentiment means a great deal to me.  I have met so may friends through my blog and all of you have truly become the SWEETEST FLOWERS in my garden!!! To tie everything together I used my bow of choice right now a piece of light chocolate tulle! Make certain you check out all of the rest of the wonderful Kreations by all of my DT sisters. They are listed on my side bar or on the blog itself and be sure to leave them all some love.  We all need a bit more, don't we?
