Dream!!!

Are you ready for your weekly dose of SWEETNESS?

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is My Grafico.

They have given us their new set called Zoom Vroom to design with this week and the winner of the challenge will get the entire set.  WOW what a great prize!!! So you will be able to see all the stamps by checking out the Design Team's projects and while doing that you can leave them a little lovin! I know they will appreciate it.  Thanks to My Grafico for being this weeks sponsor.

Now this week is no different than any other and our very own Arlana has whipped us up a decident sketch to work with.

My image is called Balloon. I wanted it to be bright and full of color so I took out every primary copic color and just started coloring away.  I then glazed to make it nice and shiny. I added a few gems in different colors to give it sparkle. I added some haystack dimensional stickles to the basket to give dimension. I then started tying tiny ribbons to my basket.  My clouds were made with a sponge and ink pad and he was ready for a ride.  I myself am a bit scared to do this so this is just a "DREAM" for me!

Now it is your turn to try your hand at the sketch. I know you will do something just Fantastic!!!

Clean n Simple!!!!

Yes I am on vacation but did talk my hubby into letting me make my challenge card for the challenge at Mo's Digital Challenge Blog . Since I am an early bird and wake up at the crack of dawn, I was able to actually make two cards to enter into this weeks challenge.

The challenge was "Clean n Simple" use either white or cream cardstock, your Mo's image and one ribbon.  That is it!!!! No layers or any other embellishments! Now I have grown to start adding layers and layers and all kinds of stuff onto my cards but this was just a nice way to get back to basics.  I think it showcased your coloring!!! I hope that I did a good job with that! I did like the way both turned out.

My first card was made with Mummu Dancing!!! You can get her here.

I of course colored her with my copics, computer generated sentiment and then added a ribbon. Here is her close up!

My second card has the image called Psst....Dani and Taylor.  Once again you can purchase it here.

My hubby really liked this image and wanted me to use this one. I am glad that I did. Once again I colored with my copics and then wove my ribbon through the bottom to match the Doc Martin's on the girl's feet. Actualy my footwear of choice right now are the Ugg's on the other one's feet. I have a pair that look just like those and are the most comfy. Here are the girls a bit closer.

The shells on the bottom of my pictures were a few that I picked up when I took a walk on the beach yesterday.  I had to add a bit of the ocean to my artwork since I took time away to work on it.  Three challenges down and one to go before they pick a guest designer. Wonder what they have planned for us next.

Mum Blossom!

Once again it is KLM Digital Design Tuesday. Yes I pre-scheduled this post.  I am on vacation but I didn't want you to miss out on the release of this beautiful stamp called Mum Blossom.

KLM has this and many other wonderful designs to pick from. I am just hoping I am enjoying some flowers where I am. If you are not able to as I am not when I am at home, here is a lovely stamp to use in so many different ways.

I colored it with my copics and added a bit of stickles to give it a glistening.  The rest of my card is very simple. I embossed a background card stock and added a bow and that was it. The image was so lovely I wanted it to be the star!!!!

Next week I will be showing the new release on Wednesday instead of Tuesday!

Imagine!!!

It is once again time for our delectable, delicious, dose of SWEET confection!!!

We are once again pleased to be able to have The Digi Stamp Boutique as our sponsor. They have some of the cutest stamps around. This is the second time I have been able to pick a stamp to KREATE with and it took me forever to make up my mind.  Thank goodness they are a monthly sponsor and I can go back again next month to pick again!!! Our winner will get $10.00 to pick their very own stamps from this wonderful company.

Now everyone that joins us weekly knows that our scrumptious sketches our from our very own temptress of SWEETS Arlana Patten and this week she has graced us again with another YUMMY for our tummy!

She never ceases to amaze!

My stamps name is Marissa and I colored her with copics. Afterwards I painfully glued on microbeads around her neck for a necklace and also in the center of each sequin on the fins of her body. I wanted it to look like scales. I hope I got that effect. What do you think?  I added stickles to her hair and just a touch in the water below. I also glazed the rock and a bit of the water to make it look wet.  The seashell was cut on my Cricut . I thought it was a perfect finishing touch! I hope you enjoy!

Now it is your turn to take your chance at the Sketch.  Pop on over to SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY  and link on up to Mr. Linky and while you are there see what the other DT's have come up with, and leave them a lil' lovin' too if you would.

Trio of Tulips!

Once again it is KLM Digital Designs Tuesday and I am proud to present this lovely new release Circle Tulip Trio.

As you can see the sentiment comes along witht he tulips. How I wish it was Spring time already and they were popping up in my garden but for now I am happy to color them and have them pop up on my cards. Maybe I will see some on my vacation. Just 2 more days till I leave. Aren't these just beauties?

I colored my trio with copics and then punched holes between my flowers and wove a ribbon through and tied on the side.  As you can see I cut the sentiment and placed it a bit below my flowers. Added a couple of buttons and it is ready for giving!

This Much!!!!!!

I hope all of you are having a wondrous Valentine's Day.  This card is being sent to all of you!!! Everyone who has left me a comment, everyone who has picked me up when I was down by just a few kind words.
" I LOVE YOU THIS MUCH!!!"

This card was made with the " I Dunno"  image by the wonderfully talented Maurie of  Mo's Digital Pencil Too.  I know that this was meant to be Bella in trouble but what I saw was her saying this is how much "I Love You." See the images talk to me and some times they just tell me a different story!!! So Bella is what I used for this weeks challenge for the Red, White, Pink and Hearts at Mo's Digital Challenge and guest DT search.

I added my sentiment to the image before I printed Bella and her good pal Bronte. I then colored them with my copics.  A bit of stickles on her sweet tutu and in her radiant red hair (had to make her a red head, after me since this is what my hair looks like if it was short and I don't take the time every day to straighten it) I took a bit of 3D scribbles paint and added the polka dots to her boots before I gave them a good glazing to make them look like rubber.  I thought Bronte should have the black circle over his eye like the "OUR GANG" dog so I got a bit KREATIVE with him. I don't think he minded!!!!  I pulled an old friend out, dusted it off and cut a couple of hearts out with my good old Sizzix. Funny how you forget the oldie but goodies once we get the new fangled machines. I stitched around the edges of my project, one ribbon to match her boots and we had our finished product.

So once again I want to thank everyone who takes time out of their busy day to come visit my blog and leave me comments. I appreciate you with all of my heart!!!

Friends Forever!!!

This week at Sew Many Cards we are soooo lucky to have Tellen's Place Designs as our sponsor.
Tellen’s Place Designs is the home of Tellen Design images. These images are drawn by the owner, Terry’s, son. Terry thought it would be fun for her son to continue these images for her as he had done in 1999, when she first began selling her crafts at various venues. With the digital world becoming such an excited and explosive place with thousands of images to delight everyone’s fancy, it seemed natural to add to that universe.
Tellen’s Place Designs became home to these images for a wide variety of reasons. Having a home to call their own, this opened the door to creativity on so many levels; especially for beginners. Adding card and mini album kits answered many calls to those who wanted to dabble in the scrap world but did not have the time or space to house all of the goods needed to “scrap a world fantastic.”
Tellen’s Place is the beginning, where it all started. It is a place where Tellen Design images come to life through the weekly challenges. We are delighted to share the digital world with others and even more delighted to sponsor Sew Many Challenges, another wonderful place to be. We invite you to visit us at your next opportunity.
I am lucky to have gotten to know Terry personally. She is a terrific person and has a fun blog and the cutest designs. The winner of our current challenge will win $10.00 in digi's from Terry.

For this challenge we had to use the colors white pink and red.and a Valentine theme. I was given this sweet image from Tellen's to use and paired her up with Tayla the Tiger.  T'Ellen lost her bankie and Tayla found it for her and was bringing it back.  This made T'Ellen so very happy!!! They have become "FRIENDS FOREVER!"

I colored with my copics and added a bit of stickles to make them sparkle with the excitement! I also glazed T'Ellens glasses and Tayla's nose and eyes! The sentiment was computer generated! I think they are just adorable together!!! It is now your turn to pop over to SEW MANY CHALLENGES and join in on the fun!

Through All Kinds Of Weather!

Boy doesn't that ring true!!! At least here in Wisconsin where I live.  We have had our fill of snow.  I am sooooooo looking forward to my vacation!! Counting the days. Lets see it is Wednesday so that means 8 more days till I leave. I am sure you will be sick of hearing about it by the time I am gone!!! But fear not I will have my lap top with me so I will not be far away!!!

Since it is Wednesday that means it must be SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY!!! This week we have been lucky enough to be sponsored by Soft Pencil Digital Stamps. The lucky winner will get a $10.00 voucher for their choice of digi's. Lucky them!!!! The stamp I used on my project is called the Lovely Couple.

Now to have a sketch challenge of course we need a sketch and we have a delectable piece of candy for your SWEET tooth by non other than our very own Arlana Pattent.

Isn't it just scrumptious???

I colored my lovely couple with my copics and then sprinkled them with a bit of stickles to look like snow since they are in their cute as pie snow suits.  I glazed the little balls on the tops of their hats and then added dew drops in the corners to match. I placed the sparkle ribbon to emulate the snow pile that they are standing on and then added the one pink heart to match the tiny little hearts above their heads. The sentiment was generated on my computer and reads " Through all kinds of weather, we stick together!" If they live anywhere near me they will have to!!!

Now it is your turn to grab your supplies and head on over to SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY and show me what you can KREATE!  I just know it will be MARVELOUS! While you are there take a look at what all my sister DT memberes have also cooked up for your delight and then if you would leave them a little lovin'.
