In The Pink......

This post was scheduled before I left on vacation!!!  I should be walking the beach as you read this!!!

Today I share with you this sweet kitty from Karen Middleton.  She or he is just darling and a dream to work with.  I decided to use her for a Birthday card for my 5 year old Granddaughter.  She comes with another image and a sentiment and is available at SWEET PEA Stamps.

Colored with copics and chalk on the background.  I used tons of stickles in the lace of the little blanket my kitty is hanging in.  I added the tiny clothespins over the ones the artist drew and slipped in a little paper with celebrate on it!!!  Lace and some pearls with a heart button and bow finish the look.

Masquerade Anyone????

I leave tomorrow for a 10 day vacation to Hilton Head Island.  I am totally counting the minutes maybe even seconds.  I can not wait to get into warmer weather!!

Today I show another Caron Vinson's stamps called Fall Masquerade Fairy.  I decided to do her in bright colors and was thinking of Mardi Gras in New Orleans!!! I adore the innocence of this artist.  You can purchase this beauty at Sweet Pea Stamps. She can be bought as a single stamp or on a sheet with 3 others and a sentiment.

She is colored with copics and a bit of chalking as a background.  A thick layer of glitter on her wings and some stickles on her dress.  I spritz some glimmer mist on the corners and on the bow and feathers.  Do not know how it shows in the picture.  Gem stones finish the glitz and glam!!!  I hope you enjoy!

Flower Fairy......

Hello everyone.  Has anyone noticed that my
GREEN BAY PACKERS
won the Super Bowl.  Everyone here in Wisconsin is so very proud of them.

Today I want to share with you a new stamp from SWEET PEA STAMPS called Flower Fairy.  She is part of the magical collection by Meredith Dillman.  She is a part of a 4 stamp set.  They are available for pre-order shipping on Feb. 14th.

I tried with all my might to use and color with a soft touch on this one.  I tend to go heavier on my colors.  Of course she was done with copics and chalk in the background.  Her marvelous wings got a heavy dose of glitter and stickles were added to various parts to give her that glorious sparkle.  Double matted and popped up for depth.  The flowers are almost see through and an addition of some pearls and a sheer bow finished the look.  I hope you all enjoy!!!

Do not forget to enter your card In A Sweet Pea Dream challenge blog to win a gift card to purchase your choice of stamps.  The theme is anything at all!!!  No excuses not to enter.

Lady In Green....

I hope all is well wherever you are.  It took us 2 hours just to get rid of the snow behind our 4 wheel drive truck to move yesterday.  It was up to my waist and I am 5ft 9 inches tall.  What a trip.  The snow blower could not even get through it.  Anyway back to work today.  Hopefully all the roads I need to take have been cleared.

Today I show another Caron Vinson's stamps called Glam Goth Fairy.  Mine is not that Goth looking though!!!

Swirls, gems, a bow and flowers finish the look.

Just a reminder I will be giving 3 grab bags of Sweet Pea stamps this week.  Just follow this LINK.

Wall Hangings....

Good Day to everyone.  I hope all is well.  I am dreading driving the next couple of days to work since we are going through a blizzard.  I hate snow.  I really need to be on a warm sunny beach somewhere.

Today I am going to show you a project I did for my Granddaughters bedroom.  I hope you like it!!!

I used the Portrait stamps from Elaine Cox that can be purchased at Sweet Pea Stamps.  These luscious beauties can be purchased as a single stamp or on a page of 4.

I colored both with my copics and then added tons of glitter to their wings.
I added a lace flower topped with a rosette button.  Added a bow and a few dew drops and placed them on a block frame for hanging.

I thought these were the most enchanting faces I have ever colored and will be perfect for her bedroom wall.
I hope you like them too.
