I'm Still Hot?????

Happy Wednesday everyone. Wow the weather has been great here. I hope it has been wonderful by you too. Since it is Wednesday that could only mean one thing!!!

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY!!!!

Once again Arlana has given us a confectionary creation of a sketch to work with and our sponso this week is Bugaboo Stamps.

OK, OK I do not quite look like this YET!!! But I feel like it some days!!!! I just love these funnies!!!! I paper pieced her red polka dotted chair and the colored the rest with my copics.  The floor was done with chalk.  I put glossy accents on the fan to make it look like metal.  A bit of stickles on her hair, dress and shoes and she was basically done.  This is the reason I love following sketches. Takes all of the guess work out of where to put what!!!  I think she is pretty dang hot!!! What do you think?????

Our own Arlana creates thses every week for us. Isn't it just scrumptious???

Now I have not made many little boy cards and I have made a mental note and told many of people that I was going to change that.  I chose this cute little cowboy. I thought about all the grown men and how when they were small and played cowboy, so I decided to make it a Mother's Day card.  The front says Mom, Remember When... and when you open it!

I was your little cowboy!!!  Now I rarely show the insides of my cards but I do decorate them too.

I did quite a bit of layering on this card and hopefully you can see some of it on this picture. The fence, his cowboy hat, and arms are all layered and popped up to give it a 3D look.  The background was done with chalk and of course I colored him in with my copics.  Now what would a cowboy with be with out his badge so he got his metal star to finish it off. I didn't write down what copics I used since I had this one colored for a couple of weeks and all the DP came from my stash so I have no idea what brand they are.
