Up and Away......

My little angel Alexa started 4K this year and I made this card to send her to commemorate the occasion!

 

Her favorite colors are pink and purple so I chose those as the main colors!

The image is a Chicken Girl Design and you can get it at i(heart)papers. I colored with copics and then hit the balloon and clouds with some stickles. The background was colored with chalks.  A multi colored ribbon embellishment in the corner with a big smiley face button finished it off.

Inside I wrote her a poem!

Up, up and away.

I have no time to play.

I'm off to school today,

For I am in 4K!

Some of you may remember I also made a Blast Off To Kindergarten- card for her brother! I wanted to make certain they both were excited about the start of school!

Blast Off.......

Yep we made it, it's Friday so that can only mean one thing!! Welcome to another Fabulous Friday on my blog and i{heart}copics on PCP challenge.  This week are making a project using our copics and three primary colors. Red, Yellow and Blue!!!!!  How simple to do!!!!

I chose to use one of the new Chicken Girl Designs for my project called Blast off. You can get these marvelous stamps at i{heart}papers along with so many of your crafting needs.  I even get my copics there!  I thought this little guy was just the cutest and I thought right away he would be great for a card for my Grandson who has just graduated from pre-school to Kindergarten.  With the primary colors my mind was made up so I added the words "To Kindergarten!" and I was ready to color.

I stayed true to my three colors except on my bear. I made him brown. A bit of stickles on the side of his space ship and on the puffs of smoke.  I also added glossy accents on the window he is looking out of.  A trio of ribbon and buttons in my primary colors finished the look. I think he will get a kick out of it!  What do you think?

Congratulations Graduate.....Chicken Girl Style

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday on my blog and that can only mean one thing!!! i{heart}copics on PCP challenge. Our challenge if we choose to accept it, is to make a card using a wonderful sketch . Jana has provided us with a dandy! Just remember you have to use copics on your project because i{heart}copics!

I am going to show you all of the elements of this card.So be prepared for many pics. The designer paper and the wonderful digi's from the brand spankin new release from The Chicken Girl Designs can be found at i{heart}papers.  All of the digi's have their own sentiment. I only used the sentiment on the owl for my project.
