Morning Glory Pool

The Etsy Inspired Challenge this week was to use a picture from Jared in Kansas and make something that was inspired from it. I used the picture Morning glory pool. The prize is a digi stamp from Whimsie Doodle who is sponsoring this challenge. I used about 5 I think different stamps from Stampscapes on this scene. I have had these forever and love the way they can be used together in so many ways to create so many different looks. I then used copics to color the image and took a bit of glitter to just add a bit of sparkle. I kept everything else pretty plain and simple since the image is so overpowering. Just a matting on black and green on the corners and then on a creme colored card base. I hope you like. Tell me does the picture and the image kind of give you the same feeling??? I hope so.

Girl Gone Wild!!!!

I chose the Ricky and Maggie Snowball Fight image. I just love the look on Maggie's face. That evil little look!!! I colored them with copics and the also used chalks to heighten the colors. I used some papers I had in my stash for both the back round and highlights.I machined stitched around the perimeter of the background paper, used crystal glazed a few parts of their clothes and their eyes to make them shine. I also put a bit of glitter on all the snow elements of the image to match both the paper and the embellishments which are a fluffy 3D iridescent snowflake and snowflake charm. A bit of ribbon and a sentiment of "May love and laughter fill your season!" thought it fit the snowball fight, and here is my finished product. This was entered for the The Splendid Stamping with the Greeting Farm challenge called Wild Week 1. You had to use one of TGF image by Marina Neira. I chose the name Girl Gone Wild because I thought the girl bunny went Wild on the boy with her snowball fight. Girl Power!!!!I hope you all like. Please let me know what you think.

Ribbons and Jewels

The challenge this week at Creative Card Crew was Ribbons and Jewels. I had posted this card once before but I had to link it to this challenge since it fit the bill. I have the yellow and green jewels in the middle of the poinsettia and of course the ribbon is obvious. I love these challenges!!!! I am not feeling very well. Hope the H1N1 is not knocking on my door. I may have to send one of my cards to my self. Went to bed at 7 last night and got up at 7 this morning. Moving in slow motion today. My DH is making me some home made chicken soup. Just what the doctor ordered. What a prince!!!!!!!

I actually tore pieces of tissue and glued it on the image and cut out parts and pushed it through the back so it looks like he is actually blowing his nose into a Kleenex. I hope you like them.

Cupcake Craft Challenge

OK OK I know I am going crazy on challenges. But I am having a blast doing these. I never realized there were so many. Man I could spend all day and night doing nothing but challenges. But I am having fun and I am not hurting anyone by doing them so it is OK. This one is for Cupcake Craft Challenge. I am going to try to link their blog. Hope it works. Cupcake Craft Challenge If it doesn't work please don't think I am a fool. I am learning. Anyway I used the sketch they gave us attached a metal snowflake a couple of brads and used my new sparkle paper I just bought. I crystal glazed her eyes and flocked her fur. I hope you like. Oh yeah I keep forgetting I have been coloring everything with copics.

Ginger Good Holiday

I have been so busy!!! I have entered I don't know how many challenges this week but I figured since I am going to make the cards anyway, I may as well do some of these challenges. Heck maybe I will just win one!!!!!! Anyway it is sooo crummy outside and I only watch my Grandkids on Wednesday I had plenty of time to work on them today. This card is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge. She gave us this sketch to use and I used a Whimsie Doodle digi and added a few jewels, some flocking and crystal glaze and this is what I came up with. Of course I had to add a bit of ribbon on it. I hope you like!!!!!!

Something Cute and Fuzzy

This card is being entered for the challenge at Stamp Something. One of my favorite things are Teddy Bears and so when I saw this challenge of course I thought of all my Teddy stamps. Here is what I came up with. I added a bit of raffia a enamel brad some glitter and my Teddy is tumbling in the leave like all the kids in my neighborhood.
