Underwater Godess........

Welcome to another week of wonder from the Digi Doodle Shop's Best! I hope you had a very enjoyable week. Mine was full of exciting things. We were busy every minute of the day and night.  Hubby was on vacation last week.  Not a great deal of time for Kreating!!! This week our challenge is TEXTURE!!!! So very easy! Show us it anywhere on your project! There are so very many ways you can succeed with this challenge.

All of the girls on the DT have been working so dang hard to give you inspiration so hop on over and take a look at what they did and then leave them a little lovin! I also want to say welcome to a new member of our DT Jona and our new Guest Designer Melanie.  I am certain they have lovely things in store for you.

I chose this week to work with a stamp that Joy made for me as a request. I love Mermaids.  Isn't she beautiful?  I colored her with copics and then added stickles to her hair and tail. To add texture I may have went a LITTLE overboard. I think this card weighs a pound!!! LOL!!!  I took a piece of photo paper and brayered over it with a Big & Juicy ink pad called Waterfall. I then put it in an embossing folder and embossed spots and dots on it.  The metalic looking foilage behind her is punchanella (the left over part after they punch out sequins) thanks again Randi! I took my heat gun to them so they melted a bit. I then glued on some sand and tiny little sea shells that I had collected on the beach at Hilton Head.  I popped up my Mermaid so she was laying on her new ocean floor.  The sentiment and ribbon was from my stash. My final touch was to place a few dew drops here and there to add a couple of bubbles in the water along with some glossy accents.  Now you know why it weighs soooo much!!!! I hope you enjoy!!!!

Copics:
Skin: E00, E02
Tail: BV00, V12, V15, BG13
Hair:BG10, BG11, BG13

So won't you pop on over and join us and try your hand at the challenge. Don't forget to check out the Digi Doodle Shop. You will not beleive all the new stamps that have been added. If you do not keep checking back you will miss sooooooo much!!! Judy has also added a Forumn so check it out. The winner of the challenge will get a $10.00 gift certificate to use at the shop!
