Daisies.......

Hello all my blogging friends!!!!!  I hope your week is going well and you have recouped from the long weekend.  At our house my hubby is on vacation all week but what I would really love to be doing is what the girl in this picture is doing, just laying and relaxing in a field of daisies!!!!

When I saw this adorable stamp at Digi Doodle Shop I just knew I had to get her colored and onto a card.  This week at Digi Doodle Shop's Best we are challenging you to use a charm on your project.  You have to realize Daisies are my favorite flower so daisy charms in every color were in my stash so I had no problem finding one to match and use on my card.

As I said earlier this stamp is one of the newest at Digi Doodle Shop and is called "Daisy Girl".  I colored her with copics and then added some stickles to various parts of the image.  After that I sprayed the entire image with some glimmer mist.  It leaves such a soft, fine sparkle on it.  I double matted the image on top of a piece of vellum that I had in my stash that was printed with non other than more daisies.  I finished off my piece with a shimmery organza bow and my daisy charm.  I am giving this card to my Hubby's Aunt for her B-day. I love her so and wanted something special for her.  The verse inside reads "May your life be like a wildflower growing freely in the beauty and joy of each day!" I thought it fit the stamp perfect.  What do you think?
