Memory of A Friend and Child........

I found this image in a search at KLM Digi Stamps and immediately I fell in love with it. You have to understand a member of my family named Freud (OK he came with that name)had to be put to sleep a couple of years ago. This was the only child my husband and I shared. Yes I have 5 kids but 4 are mine and 1 is his, but Freud was OURS. We got him as a rescue at the Humane Society. He was a pure bread but his previous owners said he was neurotic, you would be too if you were kept in a cage all the time. They had abused him and I think they should had been locked in a cage but I will not go on a tangent. This dog was the smartest, most lovable, most well behaved animal we could have ever hoped for! We never had a worry with him. This is why it hurt so terribly when the Vet told us he had Cancer and was in terrible pain and there was NO hope. The humane thing for us to do was to let him go. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. When I left him with the Vet he looked at me like why are you leaving me Mommy???? I can still see that look in his eyes today and my eyes are tearing up at this very moment typing this. Anyway this card is a memory of our dear Friend and Child. Challenge: Lord Have Mercy Sketch. Whimsy Stamps Challenge Monochromatic. I have also linked a picture of him with a big smile on his face!!! This is the way we like to remember him.
