Simply Thank You

Sometimes we need to go back to our roots and on this card I did just that. When I first took up the craft of card making I met a wonderful woman name Janice and she had a small store in downtown Menomonee Falls called Art Trends. She would be there every day making cards in between tending to her customers. You could stop by anytime you had some time and sit down and make one with her. On some Saturdays she would get people together and we would just learn some new tricks and make cards. She would never charge a penny. She would just hope you would continue to favor her store. Well of course like most small businesses this little store had to close their doors and I was thinking of her today when I was to make a card for Stamp Something Challenge and Crafty Angels which was a Thank You theme. Janice sold me this stamp I chose and taught me how to color it so beautifully. I kept it simple and on a 5.5 x 4.25 card, the way I used to make cards. No bells and whistles, just the stamp and my coloring and a bit of glitter. I have forgotten how nice that can turn out.. So thank you Janice where ever you are and God Bless!!!!!
