Once again it is time for the Sew Many Cards Challenge. This week we were to follow a sketch and make a card with the theme SPRING!!! I chose Eris in The Birdbath and Spring Cleaning!!!! After all how else does an elephant take a bath????
Our sponsor this week is Cornish Heritage Farms!!!
The winner will receive three new release stamp sets.
Here is a bit about our sponsor....Cornish Heritage Farms (CHF) is owned & run by Richard & Liz Pomeroy. Why the name? Richard & Liz are originally from Cornwall, England hence the Cornish Heritage & the 'Farms' is the 100 acre farm in north central Montana where they live & where all the stamps are manufactured. Richard & Liz believe in producing a high quality product so all the stamps are deeply etched, red rubber. CHF is a diverse stamp company in the fact that it consists of a variety of different licenses & styles, ranging from very detailed (Thomas Kinkade) to simple line art (Tom Fun Collection) therefore offering something for everyone.
I colored Eris in with my copics and then glazed over the water to make it look wet. I added a few dew drops here and there. My sentiment was computer generated to stay within the theme and to match the image. I kind of thought the spin on words was kind of cute!!!! So he was doing his Spring Cleaning in the most unusual way!!!
I hope you join us over at Sew Many Challenges and take a stab at the lovely sketch Jeri has provided and show us your Spring kreations!
If I have inspired you to KREATE please become my follower.

This is just adorable, the elephant is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my dino card. If you were asking about the circle with the holes cut out(with the dinosaurs looking through) - I did it partly in photoshop, I made a circle out of digi paper of the orange, then typed the words and positioned them where I thought they should be. After I cut it out I used a small circle punch for the holes above the letters. If this doesn't make sense or this isn't what you were talking about email me. parosc@gmail.com
