Spring Is Here

Spring is here!!! Or at least on Saturday night it will be as we spring our clocks ahead.  The calendar may not officially say it yet but in my mind I am certainly ready for it!!!!  It is time for the Fabulous Friday Challenge at The PCP group i{heart}copics.  This weeks challenge we were given stamps to use from the newly released to digital stamps Chicken Girl Designs from i{heart}papers. There are a total of nine new images being released. You can check it out by visiting Kate's blog, where she will tell you all about how you can get them.

The challenge this week is to follow a sketch provided and a color combination of R83 Rose Mist, BV11 Soft Violet and B91 Pale Greyish Blue or something close to this.  Here is my interpritation of this combination.   A little tip for you all - to get a fur like look which I hope you can all see on my bunny I used some #0 colorless blender on a piece of cotton towell and dabbed after I colored.  Colorless blender actually works more like an eraser than a blender and will take off the color of what you just touched it with.  This will give the effect of texture. You can get all of your copics needs at i{heart}papers. I added a bit of stickles on my bunny's dress and ears and glazed her nose.  I then took some blue wire to match her shoes and made some springs and attched to the image.  The springs are drawn in and I thought that gave a cute touch.  A few flowers and some ribbon and she was ready to let everyone know that Spring Is Here!
