Young Love!

Yes I still remember the feeling of Young Love as if it were yesterday.  Every week would be planning our Friday night jaunt to the roller rink.  That was the hot spot in our town.  We would all meet and if a boy would ask you to skate to a moonlight skate (where they turned the lights down a bit) oh WOW you were on cloud nine.  Of course the rest of the time you ignored each other! Anyway this adorable stamp is by Donna from Lil Diva Stamps and be picked up at The Digital-Ink Co. . While you are there be certain to check out all of the other digi's available. I am certain you will find a multitude to fit all kinds of projects.
I colored the image with copics and then highlighted with chalks. I also added a bit of distressing stickles on the heart and the girls clothing.  The large base of the stool was glazed. To give the image a softness I backed it with a heart doily. Fo the layout I followed a wonderful sketch from Claudia at  Friday Sketchers. I then once again used tule (my ribbon of choice right now) as a ribbon and hung a metal heart charm underneath.  I am trying to use my scrap DP. You should see how much I have. The perimiter of the entire card has been sewed on my machine to also add a homey touch.
